F1 2012 How to serve penalty when you still have planned pit-stops?

I've got drive through penalty for hitting another car. When I turn into pit lane, instead of drive throug it I was directed to my pit to change tyres. Because I've got 2 planned stops, second time I turn into pit-stop, again I was directed to my pit instead of just drive through pit lane. How to avoid this and serve penalty instead of changing tyres?

I thought they fixed that in this game.. it's one of the things I asked about as it's so annoying.

I have driven seven 100 % races and never got any drive through penalties, only 10 secs. Is it because I use reduced penalties?

It's happening to me all the time too.
I tried one thing last time : wait until the end of your obligation to drive through (3laps) in this case you only do your penalty not pit stop.
Each time i try to do my DT earlier, i have a complete pit stop.

It has worked for me ok so far. If you have any damage, you are likely to be pitted and repaired first, otherwise the game should serve the drive thru first.
