Anyone know if it auto-installs over my existing GT5 or do I need to uninstall GT5 first ?

Does adjusting Logitech GT wheel settings on a pc, transfer to PS3... seems to be only way of reducing the ridiculous 900 degree setting.
Some say it saves into the firmware of the wheel, other say it doesn't.
