    I really need to know how here.

    I am in the middle of creating the Intro Movie for the Nations Cup and when I use a track all the standard cars get in the way of the skins. I heard on RSC that you can create a class but I dont know how for skins only. Does anyone know how? Whoever can give me an answer will go in the credits for the intro movie :p

    Thanks.

    in short, not easy....

    Give me an exact list of the cars you want to use, and I'll see how much is involved... you will need to make new .ini's for each skin after I make the "movie mod" too...

    PM me as I miss posts often in the forum....

    What you need to do is...

    1. extract the complete car(s) from the game then edit all the .inccar files e.g.

    Original .inccar

    Description="Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    Engine="Vauxhall_Vectra"
    Manufacturer="Vauxhall"
    classes="FULL,WTCC_2007"
    ComparativeTime=104
    Make="Vauxhall"
    Model="Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    ModelID=77

    and change the following (highlighted)

    Description="RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    Engine="Vauxhall_Vectra"
    Manufacturer="Vauxhall"
    classes="FULL,RDWTCC08"
    ComparativeTime=104
    Make="Vauxhall"
    Model="RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    ModelID=77

    You might need to change the ModelID= also...

    2. Then you need to copy and edit every skin .ini file e.g.

    Original .ini

    [[[Marlboro Brd Team]]]

    [[Ayrton SENNA]]
    [Vauxhall Vectra 2007]
    Body=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Body.dds
    windows=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Window.dds
    interiorwindow=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Windows Interior.dds
    Ext_Driver=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Driver.dds
    Helmet=Vectra Marlboro # 8 HELMET.dds
    MenuFlag=Brésil flag.tga
    IngameFlag=Brésil.tga

    and the modified .ini

    [[[Marlboro Brd Team]]]

    [[Ayrton SENNA]]
    [RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007]
    Body=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Body.dds
    windows=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Window.dds
    interiorwindow=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Windows Interior.dds
    Ext_Driver=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Driver.dds
    Helmet=Vectra Marlboro # 8 HELMET.dds
    MenuFlag=Brésil flag.tga
    IngameFlag=Brésil.tga

    3. you might want to make a Menu Class Icon(s) so that you can see which is the new class instead of having a clear class button esp if you want to do more than one class fo the RD leagues...

    So, if you have say 75 drivers in the RDGTC league and ~12 cars then you need to approx 90 files....

    Does it work for Race07 as well? (i guess it doesn't as there is no space available on the Class selection screen... :( )

    yes and no....

    1. Extract the cars

    2. edit the .inccar files e.g.

    Original .inccar

    Description="Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    Engine="Vauxhall_Vectra"
    Manufacturer="Vauxhall"
    classes="FULL,WTCC_2007"
    ComparativeTime=104
    Make="Vauxhall"
    Model="Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    ModelID=77

    and change the following (highlighted)

    Description="RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    Engine="Vauxhall_Vectra"
    Manufacturer="Vauxhall"
    classes="FULL,WTCC_2007"
    ComparativeTime=104
    Make="Vauxhall"
    Model="RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007"
    ModelID=77

    3. Copy and edit the skin .ini files e.g.

    Original .ini

    [[[Marlboro Brd Team]]]

    [[Ayrton SENNA]]
    [Vauxhall Vectra 2007]
    Body=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Body.dds
    windows=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Window.dds
    interiorwindow=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Windows Interior.dds
    Ext_Driver=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Driver.dds
    Helmet=Vectra Marlboro # 8 HELMET.dds
    MenuFlag=Brésil flag.tga
    IngameFlag=Brésil.tga

    and the modified .ini

    [[[Marlboro Brd Team]]]

    [[Ayrton SENNA]]
    [RD Vauxhall Vectra 2007]
    Body=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Body.dds
    windows=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Window.dds
    interiorwindow=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Windows Interior.dds
    Ext_Driver=Vectra Marlboro # 8 Driver.dds
    Helmet=Vectra Marlboro # 8 HELMET.dds
    MenuFlag=Brésil flag.tga
    IngameFlag=Brésil.tga

    4. Use car filter to select just the cars starting with RD ....

    using the Race 07 method, the cars will be in the same class as before, and under the same manufacturer. so to select the RD Vectra as in my example. You would pick WTCC07 > Vauxhall > and then you would see the stock Vectra and RD Vectra listed at the top of the screen... as per the way you choose between the BMW E90 and the E46...
