Discussion in 'GRID 2' started by MacMat667, Jun 2, 2013.

  2. Hi,

I try to help you :)

    You need:
    Ryder PSSG Editor (http://petar.outer-heaven.net/downloads/)
    DxtBmp (http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/DXTBmp-Download-53836.html)
    Image editor software (e.g: PS)

    1. You select the liverie, when you want to edit
    (eg: grid2/cars/models/sky/livery_user/textures_high/sky_tex_high_user.pssg)
    2. you make a backup about the files when you edit (very important) :)
    3. copy the file in a new folder
    3. open the Pssg editor
    4. file / open / sky_tex_high_user.pssg
    5. in the texture folder will you see: sky_main.tga
    6. (bottom left) export this texture, as sky_main.tga.dds
7.open this dds file in a DxtBmp software
    8. image / send to editor
(First time, you have to set up the editor software: Prefs / Select Editor, or on the right center can you setting up)
    9. In the editor you make the texture.(look out the original car parts on the texture...don't paint it)
    10. when the texture is ready, save it
    11. (DxtBmp) Image / Reload after edit
    12. File / Save
    13. (Pssg) Import
    14. File / Save
    15. Copy this pssg file in the original folder
    16. You are ready, enjoy your custom liverie :)

You can use your liverie in the game in the custom event, or grid online. (in carreer not)
When do you have question, please send a pm
