How do I import ghost car laps?

Hi,

I've had a search around the net and on these forums but cannot figure out how to turn on, or import a particular ghost lap to race against (I know where the file location is, but not sure how to "turn it on" in game).

Basically I would like to race against a specific lap I have done with a particular car using a different car. Is this possible or is there a mod that would allow this?

When ghost car option is enabled in the game (same place where you set the weather and surface), you will only see the ghost of the same car you used in that track.

5 yrs later still no answer? i want to set ghosts in initial d cars and then race them in other initial d cars. please help SOS
