Hosting dedicated GSC 2013 server

I'd like to host a dedicated GSC 2013 server on a different pc.

I have installed the game on another pc, I have tried activating it, however I can't get the dedicated server to start. I click GSC Dedicated.exe but it just crashes with the following info.

I am Win 7 Pro 32 bit.

try running the GSC Config.exe first and set that up and try the Dedi server after that. See if that helps

It runs OK on my Win 8 Pro x64, without running it as admin.

If the suggestion in the previous post doesn't work, perhaps it needs to be run as administrator?

My game is just installed to a folder on another hard drive, not my system drive. Perhaps if you have installed it on your system drive, in the Program Files (x86) folder, you may need this admin permission, as the game may need to create a file, like a server log file, in a 'protected' folder.

I can't remember all details of Win 7, but on Win 8 if I simply wish to copy any file into any folder which is a sub-folder of Program Files (x86), I have to provide administrator permission before the copy will complete.

Just a thought .....

Awesome, thanks guys, this worked great. Had totally forgot to try this out, had to do the same thing for the rF2 server a while back.
