Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

I have to drive back home from S****horpe on Sunday (about 3 1/2 hrs if the traffics good), so not sure what state I'm going to be in for Sunday night. I'll do my bestest to be there though.

i would only like to ask if there is a proble of not using the grinding tranny plugin?
i'm using the v8's for a league and i'm always having to take the files and copy them again to the plugin directory everytime i'm changing the mod

Well in the manual it does say to have a separate install for this mod, but its up to you how you use your sim, i would like guys to use the sim as it was intended to be use.
but i cant force this on drivers

it's just because i had some problems in making another install so i installed in the same i was using, but i can use the grinding tranny if you want, i just hope they are faster changing gears than tthe lotus cortina

BTW could you change me to a maybe, i just realised i will have a test race for the v8 league and i'm not sure if i will be ready in time for the race

Did a bit of practice and i think using the '66 Abarth instead of the '65 one will result in closer races, i'm almost 2 seconds faster than the Elite in the '65 Abarth but only about half a second gap in the '66 car .

Edit: Setups 100% stock, didn't change anything in the garage.

@Jarek Kostowski when i did my testing i ran the default setup too except that i changed the gearbox to match the track and here's the time i did with each car

Lotus Elite '61 1.41.443
Fiat abarth 1000TC '65 1.41.500
Fiat Abarth 1000TC '66 1.41.652

so see for me the 3 cars are very equal so you should be able to acheive almost the same time in both Abarth so my guess is that you must be struggeling in the 65 Abarth, would it be possible to send me your hotlap replay for each car please so i can check things out.

My times were:

Lotus Elite: 1:41.6xx
(dunno which year i drove, i think they're identical)

Fiat Abarth 1000TC '65: 1:39.9xx
(did only 3 laps, think the car can do a little bit better)

Fiat Abarth 1000TC '66: 1:40.7xx
(did quite a few laps around 1:41.7xx, but cut the chicane a little bit on this lap so i figured about half a second gap should be realistic)

Of course i can send you the hotlaps, should i attach them here or send a pm?

it turns out i will have to withdraww from the event defeniteely, the race i'm going to have will start as the same time and will be a 200km race, so it will be more than one hour, i hope i can join the next one

I have rfactor, am working my way through the install for GTL mod, but have to head out to work for a few days, so will see how far I get on Saturday. I guess that makes it a conditional sign up for me. Or just wait and I will confirm on Sunday morning...
