    *REMINDER*
If the number next to your name in the sign up list is odd (1,3,5 etc.), please take the Camaro for Race 1 and Porsche for Race 2. If the number next to your name is even (2,4,6 etc.), please take the Porsche R1 and Camaro R2.

If you've raced here before, you will remember the large white kerbs on the exit (outside) of turn 1 R
    [IMG]

and on the exit of the penultimate turn L.

These kerbs are traditionally considered as part of the track and can be used as such. You may consider them to be an extension of the white (or sometimes yellow) line which denotes the track limits, and as such you may drive with all 4 wheels on the kerb here. You may not cut across the grass (with more than 2 wheels) on entry or exit from these kerbs. Please note, the 2 kerbs shown are the only exceptions to normal track limits. You may NOT treat the white kerbs on other corners as track, especially on the inside of a corner and especially at the chicane.

The Roger Penske Camaro number 36 is more powerful than the other Camaros. Please do not take this car, or you will be tied to a wagon wheel in the midday sun.... naked.... next to an ant's nest.... and you will be smeared with honey... so there.
Don't you temp me... I'm serious.... I'll do it.

    Hey :)
I have asked for this before just in another thread , Can we try for 1 week ( ore 1 race day ) and run the race server with FIXED setup ?? we should preferably all be driving the same car, it could be a Cortina , Mustang ,Jaguar E .
For those who don't know what FIXED means , it means when you enter the race server you can only change 2 things on your car
    1. Steering lock 2. Brake pressure , everything else is default even fuel load, and you cant load any setups.
We would then all be on the same page---if you know what I mean :coffee:.
Out in the real world, the average Classic Joe don't change all the things we do in the Garage from race to race,---maybe if he have a very healthy bank account and 10 mechanics, see this as a fun experiment..:)

Using a fixed set up on some cars is ok but at times it can be very hard to control the bigger cars. We will have a look at the cars and options for this Stig..:) (you know i drive most of the time with default where i can... :whistling::whistling:)
It does teach you to drive the track that's for sure i often run 20 laps without even touching a single thing just to see where the strong and weak points of the car is on any given track, if a play with a setup and think ive done good i go back to default and check again how it feels, sometimes i can match the time again with a default set up.. that shows me its my driving and not the car.

Yes some of the cars will be harder to control, but my point is it will be the same for all drivers, and we will discover that we only need to practice, and nobody have to think about setup for a entire week :)
I do know a lot of the fun with this Mod is fiddling in the garage " I gained 3 tenth " by adjusting this and so on.
But it could be quite relaxing with a week where you only have to drive and learn.

yes i agree Stig, But i have to look at all drivers when making a decision for a cars and tracks,
My first attempt at this would be with a easy car to control on an less demanding track, See how it goes look at the feedback we get and then look for maybe a longer version of said track then a more demanding track.. if that proves ok then we can look at upping the power of car class and tracks used ..
Granted there are a couple of powerful cars that in my eyes are as easy to drive as a slower one, and there are a couple of slower cars that can be quite tricky to drive..

So its all about getting the right combo and bringing the drivers we have forward as a group ..
But i will look at this for sure.:)

If you have a combo in mind please tell, maybe put it in the section
    http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/historicx-racing-club-feedback-and-suggestions.91432/
then i can find it easily..

i can give you my feedback right away, i can't drive any of the default setup of any cars they simply doesn't fit my driving style so i would be out for those events that would use fix setup.
