HistorX and GSC

Hi people.
Just wondering if someone has tried to install the HistorX (currently 1.96) mod over GSC2013 (*or any other GSC)?
Since GSC is based on rFactor, I wonder what would be the results.
I know, I can just try and see what happens, but thought about asking before.

No, I haven't tried it, but I'm following this thread to see what luck you have. I'm not optimistic, but don't let that put you off. What do I know?

Well, tried over a brand new install of GSC2012, all the usual tricks (like running as admin, compatibility mode, etc) didn't work.
Must have something to do with the way that GSC is encripted.
