I'm curious as to what every one else's setup is, what wheels and pedals do you guys use? And does everyone set their wheels to 900 degree rotation? Might switch if it benefits driving as I've always raced on 270 ish degrees.

Also, Alpine for me, reno powwahhrrr!

OK then - I'm going to go Beemer just to be special.

It's powerful, heavy, and is a good bulldozer. That'll teach you all.

    Thrustmaster T500RS
    Fanatic V2 pedals
G25 shifter ( its old but i like the extra buttons. New shifters seem to lack that..)
900 deg rotation with the default in game steering lock.. i have tried 1080 but on tight twisty circuits its to much..
At the end of the day its what you feel comfortable driving with and what works best for your Rig and game setup.

Reason for driving at 900 deg of rotation.. works best for me on default setups.
I do like to try and drive within the bounds of the car.. ( flappy paddles where not around then so its manual shifting with a G25 and failing badly at the moment. i used to do it with my eyes closed). Note to self : KEEP AWAY FROM THE PADDLES THEY ARE EVIL. :)

What is most important is that you are happy with your driving and set up. Id rather have a guy in control of his car driving with his set up that trying to conform to what others do and keep crashing.. You can drive with a joy pad or even a flight stick (Jack now has a wheel) its about having fun.

Yep, as @Rupe Wilson, I'm a 900° user, I use 22° in-game though, which can mean a little more steering input than some of the others, but I'm OK with that tradeoff. I get a little less twitchiness.

Think I'll give 900 degrees a go this Sunday, is there any way of making the g27 pedals work separately so I can use them with a T300rs? Because not having a clutch takes me away from the immersion a bit and I'd rather use the T300 for the ffb rather than the g27 wheel.

I use 900 degrees on T500rs, but I have my G27 plugged in as well. That way, I can shift with my TH8 and use the G27 shifter (on the other side of my wheel) as a button box. A while ago, I broke a spring in my T500 pedals. I was able to map the G27 pedals (still plugged into my G27 wheel) and TBH I think I preferred them to the T500 pedals (G27 pedals have Nixim brake mod). So I used T500 wheel and G27 pedals, no problem if you have both wheels. Incidentally, the G27 pedal and shifter work, even without the power plugged in on the G27.
I would definitely try a much higher wheel rotation, 270 will react really quick, but it'd be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to twitchy for me in HX, esp with these cars.

I use stock G27 and TH8 shifter, and as you can see it have been used a lot lately :O_o: I use 900 degree --started out with 650 but found out that I could make more subtle changes in direction when using 900 with out upsetting the car, but it takes some time getting used to ( you have to turn the steering wheel a lot more )
