    *ATTENTION*
There are 3 cars to choose from for this week. Please pick one car to drive for both of the races in this event. You will need to choose a different car for each event this week.

Qualifying will take place over a 10 minute session. You will be allowed to start 4 laps. This will allow an out lap, and 2 timed laps. On your in lap, please find a safe place to pull off the track and press Esc on your keyboard. We advise drivers to use the first timed lap as a "Banker Lap". Drive within your limits and try to ensure that you complete the lap, so that you have a reasonable time "in the bank". Then, on your second and final timed lap, go for it. Try to set the best time you can, push as hard as you dare.

Please use your rFactor linear track map (key #4 by default) to find a clear space on track to start your out lap. Avoid joining just in front, or just behind another car. Remember, as soon as you click the crash helmet icon to leave the garage, you will be deemed to have started a lap. If you have problems on your out lap, it will be possible to press Esc and try again, but remember, you will have used up one lap and will therefore only get one timed lap (no "Banker Lap").

Lastly, this is a narrow, twisty circuit. Please use common sense when attempting to pass other cars. If you try to force a pass under braking, it will very likely end badly. Try to beat your opponent on exit speed, so that you pull alongside well before the next braking zone. Be considerate to other drivers at all times.

If you are unsure of anything, or have any questions, please ask myself or Rupe Wilson via PM.
    Good luck and have fun.

I keep repeating myself but this is brilliant stuff. That being said, it is a very challenging track though even driving alone on the track. So well done to all of you. And big thanks to the three wizards for their hard work:thumbsup:

    Another quallo evening

The Beemer was quite a different proposition to the Gordini, slower off the line, slower to reach top speed, but way more planted and stable through the turns, while being supple enough that you could provoke it to be a little looser if you needed it to be.Truth be told, I was surprised at my pace last night. Pleasantly so, admittedly, but surprised nonetheless.

Two good races, both mostly an exercise in patience. I had opportunities where I could have been a little more...shall we say assertive? with some passes, but that's not really how I want to get ahead of people, so I played the waiting game, hoping for others mistakes under pressure.

That backfired in R1 where I made one myself while pressuring Alex. I was so close behind him that I couldn't see the track clearly because his car was so big in my windscreen, I didn't anticipate the turn quite right, caught a bit of a bump and span, giving him 7 sec breathing room.

It worked better in R2 where I lost 2 places down to 4th, bided my time and made the most of an opportunity to get back into 2nd, once there (and free from the compromised lines of close pursuit) I pulled out to about 6 sec pretty sharply and held that gap to the end.

Knut was in a different class again last night, so realistically a podium was the best result I could hope to achieve. Getting a 3rd and a 2nd was way beyond what I was expecting.

Thanks Denis, Rupe & RD

So the next car in my case will be Simca. Well, that car don't tells me nothing. Maybe it's a kind of Fiat, but it's a "no name" strange car.
Gordini shouldn't be faster than a Bmw. The bmw have wide slicks and Gordini standard wheels so especially in the corners should be like a boat. However i'm a fan of Gordini, it's a very classic car, which i like that. I intend to buy one someday
