    *ATTENTION*
There are 3 cars to choose from for this week. Please pick one car to drive for both of the races in this event. You will need to choose a diffwerent car for subsequent event this week.

Qualifying will take place over a 10 minute session. You will be allowed to start 4 laps. This will allow an out lap, and 2 timed laps. On your in lap, please find a safe place to pull off the track and press Esc on your keyboard. We advise drivers to use the first timed lap as a "Banker Lap". Drive within your limits and try to ensure that you complete the lap, so that you have a reasonable time "in the bank". Then, on your second and final timed lap, go for it. Try to set the best time you can, push as hard as you dare.

Please use your rFactor linear track map (key #4 by default) to find a clear space on track to start your out lap. Avoid joining just in front, or just behind another car. Remember, as soon as you click the crash helmet icon to leave the garage, you will be deemed to have started a lap. If you have problems on your out lap, it will be possible to press Esc and try again, but remember, you will have used up one lap and will therefore only get one timed lap (no "Banker Lap").

Lastly, this is a narrow, twisty circuit. Please use common sense when attempting to pass other cars. If you try to force a pass under braking, it will very likely end badly. Try to beat your opponent on exit speed, so that you pull alongside well before the next braking zone. Be considerate to other drivers at all times.

If you are unsure of anything, or have any questions, please ask myself or Rupe Wilson via PM.
    Good luck and have fun.

I've gone with the Simca on Tuesday
    And the Renault on Thursday
Which leaves the BMW for this event.

    A couple of point guys,

In qually leave a big gap to the car in front please. with our qually session you should not even really see a car in front of you the whole time if done correctly. so stop at pit exit and leave a big gap to the car in front..
Do not overtake a car in pit lane or sat at pix exit waiting for a gap..
I don't want to see dive-bombing into a corner trying to overtake another car,
that is why we say leave a big gap.. ;) Respect all drivers on track all the time.

    Racing.
Remember its the overtaking cars responsibility to do it cleanly, a pass is not a good pass if you make contact,
if you tap a car in the overtake and he goes off track you must wait.

Rule 1 is the Golden rule, and we will not stand for this rule to be broken.

You have to give racing room if a car is along side of you.
Remember if you not fully along side before the breaking zone, (Your bonnet has to be at least along side of the door of the car you are trying to overtake)..if not you have to give the corner to the driver in front. We don't do dive bombs plain and simple.
Remember a car will close to the apex whilst going through a corner. So don't leave your car hanging on inside of his back wheels.

By doing the above you can still race hard.
But we are a gentleman's racing club with a gentleman's ethos.
Its all about the racing, leave your ego at the door when you sing up !!!!

When to pass or not to pass that is the question.
In the vid below you see Steven and me trying to get on the back of Stuart.
A couple of times its gets real close in the breaking zone..
Steven gets a run on me up the hill. @4.35 in the vid..he gets a bit of a overlap but not enough and tucks back in behind.
The apex was always going to close and chances are we would of collided..and has a accident.. when racing is this good why spoil it.. Just keep applying the pressure something will give and the chance of a proper pass without contact may appear..
Its a pity it was Steven that spun after getting unsighted going into the dip after the S's as it was building up to a classic as the 3 of us caught up to Alex,
    Ive never had a 4 way:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Thanks to Steven for the vid

True Gentleman's racing at its best. thank you Steven and Stuart for a epic battle.:thumbsup::inlove::inlove:
