F1 2011 Help needed setting up my wheel

I have a thrustmaster F430 with PS3 and F12011, the problem is with straight line stability, the car is very nervous/twitchy in a straight line. which setting/s do I need to adjust to rectify this? I currently have all settings on default that is all 0% except linear on 10%.

It sounds like a problem I had with a cheap wheel and I believe it's the linearity - try playing with those settings until the amount you turn the wheel is equivalent to the on-screen wheel movement. Ideally you need to achieve 1:1.

I think increasing the linearity means you have to turn the wheel more for the same effect, so it might help, but the entire wheel travel will also be affected. If you literally just have a problem around the 12 o'clock position, then maybe a little deadzone, maybe 10% will help.

The main problem is trying to position the car as close to the edge of the track as possible as it seems to "jump" from side to side?

You can try these:
Steering deadzone - 1%
Steering saturation - %17
Steering linearity - 2%
Throttle deadzone - 0%
Throttle saturation - 10%
Brake deadzone - 0%
Brake saturation - 10%

Cheers peppesbodega, I've increased the linearity and find it better but maybe a little "dull" I'll give these a go thx.
