height of background image

I just wonder if there isn´t any easy way to have the background image closer to the track when you work on it.
When positioning curbs etc you need to be in 3D view which isn´t true
ortographic ( no perspective)
I gives misalignment when background image and track is wide apart.
Does anyone know an easy way to alter the hight of the background image?

Thanks in adwance.:beauty:

I think you can't move up and down backround image.
One possibility is to make backround image as a object (plane), then you can move it anywhere you want, dont know how well it works.

I'm not sure why you needed to open another thread for this . . .

but anyway, as mbc52 said in the other thread if you set your terrain to background image you'll be able to see exactly where everything is. You can always change it back again afterwards.

edit: or better still, set your background image as the blend material at 100%. Then you can select Blend None to remove it again :)
