After further contemplation, the 2 cars in particular that hooked me onto R3E were the Radical SR9 Judd and the Chevy Corvette Greenwood 1977. While the Radical sounds amazing and is great to drive, I just switch to external cam on the Corvette, and rev lots. That sound! Phwoooarrr. Give the sound guy a medal! :geek:

This is so hard. It's impossible to pick one car - I'm such a tart!

In Race 07, it was any of the Retro Max and Retro Cool cars.
In GTR2, the Lotus Elise, BMW M3 GTR, Mosler MT900R and Saleen S7R.

In Automobilista - where to start? Nearly every vehicle in the car roster has at some time delivered an epiphany of sorts. My favourite is probably the Stock Car, although I drove it so much that I nearly overdosed on it. Nowadays, it's the Formula Retro - it feels and sounds wonderful. Honourable mod mentions: DRM (the cars are bestial in all the right ways) and Patrick Giranthon's Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 1974, the car that finally taught me to love Porsches.:notworthy:

Usually I don't like pCars very much because of their tyre model (too much dynamic grip IMHO), still the best driving experience in any sim I find driving the Lotus 25 Climax in pCars using Vintage 1962 hard tyres (this is important!), preferably in Rouen Les Essarts.
Honorable mentions: Almost anything in AMS, USF2000 in rF2, any GT4 in AC and Group 5 in R3E.

For me it's the old Ferrari 312 from Grand Prix Legends, even though modern sims are objectively better.

I love the modern DTMs and Group 5 Capri in Raceroom (these are my current 'go to' cars) but for the sheer number of hours enjoyment and excitement it's given me, the old GPL Ferrari will never be bettered.

I started a similar thread to this last year and my favourite then is still the same. The Corvette c6r GT model in RF2. An amazing simulated car and just drives so damn nice. Sounds pretty good too.

Grand Prix Legends The Eagle.
Raceroom The Ford Capri Group 5.
Collin Mcrea Rally The Subaru...
Rfactor The Ford RS2000
Rfactor 2 Eve F1
GT Legends Ford Escort, I miss this car al lot, will it ever be back with the same feeling and sound?

It seemed impossible to pick just one, because I usually focus on one car for a few weeks, before changing up, and I really enjoy driving so many different cars and classes. But then I realized that in just about every sim I've played, I've always end up spending some time in the BMW M3 GT2 and love driving it with the sequential shifter. Because it's in so many sims, delivering a consistent level of enjoyment. I have to with that one. :)

Too funny - for me, it's definitely the F3 in AMS. The feeling of driving that thing at "ten-tenths" is just sublime - a great blend of power and downforce, you can really drive it like a maniac.

The reason I say "too funny", is when I first saw this thread, this was the car combination that came to mind...but I was too embarrassed to post it, cuz I thought people would laugh at me! I thought perhaps I was the only one who loves this car/sim combo, but I've seen multiple people bring up the same one!
