F1 2011 Has anyone used the XCF-F1 adapter with the G27 wheel?

Has anyone used the above adapter for the Logitech G27 wheel on Xbox 360? A friend is selling his racing rig and he plays PS3 with the wheel. But I can't use the G27 without the XCM-F1 adapter. I'm curious if any of you have used it to play F1 2011. What are your feedback. Is it worth it or rubbish?

A quick google search tells me that you'd be better off playing with the G27 on PC or PS3 or getting a Fanatec or other xbox wheel to play on xbox.

It seems like this adapter tricks the xbox into thinking the G27 is an xbox 360 controller. So while it does technically enable to use the G27 it doesn't behave like a wheel (like it would on PS3) and is instead translating controller outputs into wheel outputs. There is no FFB data given to a controller so you don't get FFB with this adapter.

Also it looks like you need a wired x360 controller for this to even work in the first place

Yeah, the more I googled the converter and researched the Fanatec the more I like the Fanatec.

I am usin XCM on Xbox with G25...fantastic

I have both Xbox an PS3..the difference in using G25 on PS3 or Xbox with XCM is minimal = no feedback. All else is the same, driving ecc....
