  10. Hello. I just logged in and I would like to join you in next races with historic cars, but now I'm looking at the mods needed and I can't find any place to donwload a mod called HistorX nor GTCC-B1. What do I need guys, which is the name of the mod?
  11. Quas

Here's everything you need to know: HistorX manual
I wanted to send you a link to a torrent for the mod but it seems the HistorX forum is down at the moment, i'll try to send you one after the race via pm.
To race with us you will need to go premium, it's really worth it but if you're unsure we can hook you up with a "freemium" which is a free test month for people that never raced on RD :).

Great couple of races again, gents!
Getting around this short track is not a walk in the park though. Especialy the pair of S/F chicanes I was unable to get through at any decent speed while respecting track limits.
Or sometimes even getting through them at all without crashing.:roflmao: But from the looks of things I wasn't alone...:whistling:

Question: What kind of wheel/shift settings do you gents use on a track like this??

I found driving with 900 deg. rotation, paired with a H-shifter and clutch almost impossible to do.
I just didn't have enough time from one corner to the next.. :O_o: Resulting in overrevving and nearly killing my engine in both races, and an old left wrist injury to start acting up again mid-R2.

And that's just from using an old G25.. I can only imagine what those high-power DD-wheels will do to your arms in a race like these..:barefoot:

Still, it was mad fun again. THX all for racing, THX to staff for the event,
Grats Jeff on grabbing your first of many HistorX podiums.

Hope to CU all on sunday (with limited rotation and FFB settings:D:D)

Right on Brother, I hear ya, it's all good.

You know @Roland these old cars only had heavy steering at very low speed. With any speed at all they get light as a feather and they had really big steering wheels just so you get out of the parking spot.
I run 540 and back my steering lock off 4 or 5 degrees with t300, just my personal.

I was using 900 and H shifter. I did my best with track limits but, as you say, the chicanes are really tricky. I was REALLY slow here though.
It's up to the individual to police this (IMO), no sense pointing the finger and upsetting people. I'd urge everyone to check the replay (on FF maybe) from a chase cam and ask yourself "Could I do more to keep my own house in order?".

Roland, don't forget that you can play with the Realfeel on track, and there is also a steering force control (in addition to FFB strength) in the controls section (although some clarification on what this actuall does would be welcome).
