GTR2 setup files in GTR Evo?

If I copy across a GTR2 Setup will it work in GTR Evo?

ok, you can, but...

You need to edit the file first and add the following after the Notes="":

CreatedBy="Gunthar Rowe"
Car="Saleen S7R"

So you will end up looking something like this at the top of the file:

[GENERAL]
Notes=""
CreatedBy="Gunthar Rowe"
Car="Saleen S7R"
Symmetric=0
CGRightSetting=0
CGRearSetting=0
WedgeSetting=0
FrontTireCompoundSetting=0
RearTireCompoundSetting=0
FuelSetting=22
NumPitstopsSetting=4

You need to put you name in and the correct car model, but these can be found in a stock svm file.

The physics are totally changed so i cannot imagine that GTR2 setups will give you the same effect in Evo

Have you tried the default game settings in Evo? I create all setups from from there. They only need some minor tweakes here and there to make it suit you. Also the SimBin setups are not bad.

yes I have tried both defaults and also the Simbin ones, it was just that I have done some serious laps on some tracks and have some nice sets for GTR2, was just trying to speed you the setup process...

I have found that the FinalDrive does not work correctly from the GTR2 file and would also nee to be edited...

It was just an idea...

What is a finaldrive? The last gear?
