Meds are on fire right now
I'm going to regret this, but i'm in...
Go on then, why not. I'll stick my name down also and volunteer to start from the relative safety of the pit lane (or at least I guess I'll be somewhere on the reserve list... )
snap, i gotta check out my disappearing hud issue, would be a shame to not be able to pit midrace
Reserves list gentlemen.
Reserve spot only now
Edit: Nevermind, different track layout. I just can't seem to come to terms with the fact there's a GP track as well on the Nürburgring, apart from the only track that matters
Are all the cars balanced? Even older models like the Mclaren mp4 12c?
At the moment, most of the cars are balanced, though the newer ones, mainly the C7 and AMG are a little faster than others at the moment, by how much depends on the driver.
To be honest, I would just run whatever your favorite is and enjoy the new physics, they definitely turned out well.
Live stream with commentary?
You'll have to ask @Joseph Wright about that.
So where is @Joseph Wright ??
I will be meeting up with family on Sunday, so I will have to check what time I come back.
Can you add me to the reserve list please.
Wasn't too sure if I could make it but willing to help out with the server experiment
@Ross Garland @Kenny Paton just passing this on, but I watched @Georg Ortner s Stream
and at about 8:30 in he says although 64bits will support big offline grids the net code is still limited to 36 cars in MP. I don't know what happens with more than that but obviously 46 are signed up for this...
Stupid forum, nm
This event as well as being an exciting one will also act as a stress test for the netcode stability.
Seems pointless to have introduced large grid sizes if they then can't be used.
They did a big grid test stream recently and 46 cars was the exact point where they started having issues I believe.
It would be great if we can.. either way we'll find out on sunday.
