I just bought this and all the DLC on a whim after I played the demo and didn't like it. Weird how that works, right? Well, actually, I'll join, but I'll stick around depending on latency. I am over here in the states.

Is there an EU RD server up right now where I can check the ping?

There's a server up, but running different content right now, but your ping should be fine, it usually works fine for Americans.

As far as I know there's no way to check your own ping, but we'll tell you if you're lagging.

If we have the IP of the server I could just ping that. I forgot we have computers and can do stuff like that.

If you look along the line for the server in multiplayer you can see the ping.

Your timing couldn't be anymore perfect. :) I was about to write a post mentioning the open differential on the Audi. Nissan looks like the best pick for this one, though the Mustang is a little more manageable with turbo that doesn't take a 1000 years to spool up. Still slow, but not Nissan slow. :D

What does that mean in layman terms? I don't speak car mechanic :D:D This is the only car i have in the pack, is it not worth driving?

I'm no mechanic so I can't give you the perfect answer, but basically the differential determines how much power is applied to each wheel on either axel. When you're running in straight line, all wheels receive the same amount of power (because they are subject to equal forces), whereas in a corner, the differential kicks in and controls the rotation of each wheel (different forces on all wheels). With an open differential, power will be applied to the wheels to create a balance across both axels. This means that in a corner, you'll have one side loaded while the other is relatively void of forces.

So basically, you lose torque and will have a complete loss of grip until the forces even out again.

@Daniel Trapp, might know more about this. Please don't kill me if I butchered it. :D That's about as much as I understand and as best as I can put it.
