Well here we go again its League week ..This week on Tuesday we go to Motodrom Schottenring 21 laps round this majestic track, although it a semi fantasy track, it was created from a project that never happened back in 1974 But what if the story was different? the question was asked and a plan was drawn to try to make a semi-fictional version of the track for GT-Legends, based up
on the old maps and models of the planed track. And what a track this is. If we look back to the last league race round the R1 circuit we had a very close battle for second place that lasted for most of the race between Neil Gault in his Ferarri, Guus Verver in his Porsche, and last years winner Ross McGregor in his indestructible
Alpine. After a unfortunate coming together between Guus and Neil, which allowed Ross to escape and myself to get through, But there was no stopping the run away winner Dmytro Botnarenko in the Healey . And made the Austin Healey 3000 a winner this time with a 1st and 3rd placing round the R1 circuit
On Thursday we go back to a track we had converted by ebrich with the kind permission from Rodrricos over Rfactor central. Nivelles GP is losely based upon the real Nivelles which existed during the 1970s and surved as a Formula One circuit in both 1972 and 1974. Rodrrico made this track as he became bored with waiting for others to complete their versions of the same track.
This version has the essential layout of the real Nivelles, but with greater elevation changes than it had in real life. This extra gradient and banking make for more exciting racing in our opinion, and it helps with the lower downforce cars that we have in GT Legends. We had a upgrade on the pits to make them more easy to use, lets hope we don't need them. But they will be there for when we run some mini endurance events in the future. This time we get to drive a super looking car the Volvo P1800 in a 2 race 13 lap special.
