GTL Racing Club This Week / 08

This week we bring out a great selection of cars in the club races, and the focus is on Speed. On Tuesday is the classic club rivalry between the Shelby Daytona Coupe and the TVR Griffith 400 and a trip back in time to the 1970 layout of the great Road Atlanta. It's time to get your slide on and these cars love it. POWER is the key, but can you control it? Be delicate when required, but get your foot down for the straights. Slow in, fast out - its always a great sight to see...

This should get us all in the mood for Thursday and another trip to the Hilltop, with another couple of old classics and proven rivals - the Ford Capri RS2600 vs Porsche 914-6. With plenty of new liveries for these cars there no way you will get confused who is who. The last time we drove round the Hilltop we had the LM55 Jags and that was a blast, if slightly low tech. This time we have the Capri and Porsche to push to the max, fast flowing corners running into some tight bends, so get used to the brakes and hold your lines (tidier lines than the 55 Jags). This should be fun, and a great way to round off the week.

I think we will need the weekend to relax and get some final practice in for the first race in the GTL League. 31 cars are due to start on the grid at the Algarve, with 9 different makes of vehicle in the mix - all with a chance of taking the glory. This looks like its going to be the best one yet.
