Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are too late for that session.

Please think of your fellow drivers. Get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive. We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.

If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

I was pretty tired after a rough day at work, and I better had not raced.. Normally I probably wouldn't have signed up, but I didn't want to miss out as from what I hear this event was one of the few opportunities left to race GTL with you gents, and thus the last one to race with my very own Alpine skin.:inlove:

Pretty soon however I found this track to be not easy to learn, as most of the multiple right turns looked very similar, but weren't. So I mixed them up a number of times which resulted in my going very slow through a fast corner or ending up in the sand outside a slow one..:O_o:
All through race 1 in the Alpine I had troubles remembering the bends and keeping the car on the tarmac (messed up 1st turn 5 times in a row:redface:) until eventually I managed to hit one of the probably 3 sign posts on the whole track and crashed my car killing the engine. DNF:mad:

So after that in the Alfa I knew my way around, but couldn't get a decent lap done in P2 nor in Q2 so started pretty much from the rear. I was doing OK until I approached T1 in heavy traffic, had to go in really wide as to leave room for Allan, but didn't make it and ended up backwards on the grass... Immediately Allan inquired if my exit was due to contact but I didn't know as I hadn't felt any contact so told him to race on.. Only from watching the replay I noticed indeed he had slightly swept me sideways causing my exit..
I continued the race quite far behind everyone else, and got Steven as a friendly chaperone all the way to the end to prevent me from getting very lonely:thumbsup:, but my driving was so bad he actually had to wait several times...:D

Lesson learned: don't race if I don't fully feel up for it..:cautious:

Thanks to staff for the event, and to all for racing.. you may not have seen me, but I was there too:roflmao::laugh:
