Simbin just announced yet another expansion pack to their popular RACE Series. For E4.99 all owners of RACE 07 and/or expansions can download a brand new GT Power Pack on Steam on April 19, 2011

The GT Power Pack is designed for those gamers who can’t get enough horsepower under their right foot.

Three high profile exotic GT sportscars are ready to hammer around new tracks from both sides of the old iron curtain. Also two completely new and exciting race tracks will make their debut in the “GT Power Pack”: “Mid-Ohio” and “Chayka”. “Mid Ohio” is often named as “the best road course” in the USA whereas “Chayka” is the first track out of the former Soviet Union to make it to a SimBin title.

- Pagani Zonda R

I love the M3 as well. Brilliant sounds.

Anyone notice the Zonda R (production version) has slick tires instead of the usual "track days"? Really makes it nice to drive

Have bought it, looks great

Can someone please tell me though, I thought that all 3 cars were supposed to have their own classes... but I can only see the Pagani one. I can find all 3 cars in the GT Pro and Sport Classes (Pagani + Matech in Pro, BMW in Sport) however...

Does anyone know if something is wrong???

This may be true for Valve but all payment methods take a cut, be that credit card or other. Also, I'm not a huge fan of Steam but I would imagine the possibilities to reach a larger public is a real plus for the devs.

you are right but in this case we have opportunity to buy this DLC directly from developers. In my opinion everybody who likes to support simbin should go to raceroom instead steam. of course if price is the same in both shops.

There's nothing wrong, as the cars are supposed to slot into the other GT categories. The reason the Zonda gets it's own category is because that is the 'real' version, whereas the other is a 'fantasy' version which has been toned down to compete with the other cars in that class.

I would agree if RR supported all payment methods, but they currently do not. No PayPal, for example. That's supposed to be coming soon though, so perhaps there will no need to wait for the Steam release of the next addon.

Is there a "GT power" button? Can't seem to find the beemer... Are they scattered in with the other cars? Mid Ohio shows up though so it installed something.

Yes they are scattered a bit. The BMW is under GTS.
Others are under GTP.

Lol... same as me. Even when I found the M3 I wasn't sure if it was the right one, as I don't use the GTSs very often. Had to go to the RR forums to check. :tongue:

Tried the GT40 and M3 today. I must say I love it. I'm not really positive about SimBin releasing all kinds of bits and pieces to shatter the series more than they already have, but the cars I drove are just great.

I'm cool with a bunch of expansions, I just wish they were more clear about which titles are full games, and which ones are expansions, and what exactly does each contain.

For example, if you go to their page for GTR Evolution, it talks about ALL of the Race07 cars PLUS the EVO ones. If you already own Race07, it's hard to tell how much extra content you're getting.

It's so confusing how they treat each expansion as a totally different game.

Agree entirely. The official sites need to be far, far clearer in what new content you are actually getting.
