Important: Please pay special attention to Racedepartment's Golden Rule: If you hit another driver and disadvantage him, we expect you stop and let the other driver regain his position on you. If this costs you many places (eg first few laps) then consider this a penalty for your driving infringement. Doing this shows respect to your fellow drivers and will encourage drivers to be more careful. Please use some care when letting the other driver regain position, do not immediately stop your car on the driving line where it can cause further accidents. Not following this rule will result in your membership of the racing club being terminated at once!

  11. So you can tell us what's a solid time around here then? :)

I'm completely new to the track and fairly new to the cars - have just tried to learn the Aston and the BMW there, and I am faster in the Aston so far (best of 2:03) but it's harder work than the BMW. Tough track - that first corner in particular is a handful ... will be interesting trying to head through there two abreast without it going all wrong!

Actually wanted to ask for suggestions for a car, but obviously everybody is clueless, so I think the Aston is the most beautiful (that's really my selection criteria :), for the moment)
Put me on reserve, chances are 50:50 for me.

  15. Well in qually I got a 2:00.4 which was good for third, first was a 59.1...however this was only using the Viper's.

I'll try the Beemer this time, since I drive the Viper in the League. Hope I get more than one lap this time.

  17. I was in the same race as Richard, and in the Viper I could do a 2:01 with ease. The Dodge is easily the fastest car in GT Club on this track. In the Gillet, my best time is a 2:02 if I try really hard.

  18. Interesting, I had a brief play with the Viper but couldn't get much out of it, maybe it needed more aggressive setup changes...my first priority will of course be to learn the track properly and go from there though, thanks for the info :)

Cam, i will join early if possible but will have to miss Qualifying as i need to take my son to work, but should be back by 9:55 GMT so will get to the start line.

If that is unacceptable, no problem, just leave me off the list.
