Codemasters have revealed the full car & track list for their upcoming title, GRID Autosport. Here is what you need to know, in a single handy article.

All tracks come with multiple layouts, and most will feature night-racing as seen in Endurance gameplay videos. Note the shift towards proper circuit racing, from the street-racing we saw in GRID 2.
    • Autódromo do Algarve
    • Circuit of the Americas
    • Mount Panorama
    • Brands Hatch
    • Autsport Speedway
    • Hockenheimring

GRID Autosport will feature multiple 'disciplines' of race cars, and the list is looking pretty good. RD user Robert Waddell said "Perhaps the most diverse selection of cars ever seen on the xbox 360. Although Forza had a bigger list, it did not have nearly the range of categories."

Definitely pre-ordering this on steam. i really hope this sells well enough to warrant codemasters to continue in this direction. hopefully racedepartment.net will organize some races like they did with grid2!
  7. Might get this

And here's the layouts of the city tracks that only appeared in GRID 2: Barcelona, Chicago, Dubai and Paris. Never seen before since last year.

All this stuff in more detail under the GRID Autosport thread entitled GRID Autosport - The Leagues. So, to answer your question Stephen, I will be doing my best to create a healthy xbox league. First Touring/Endurance Series, then Open Wheel. I'm very optimistic about this game. Some of the best xbox F1 gurus out there, with pre-alpha in hand, rave about it. 'm sure PC has much better, but they are releasing some kind of upgrade for the PC to make it look better, I think.

  13. The Mazda Furai and McLaren 12c bullet points need to be seperated.

Also, why is the McLaren P1 trademarked?
  14. KTM X Bow R has been added to the open wheelers.

  15. they need to replace the street circuits with the nascar tracks like indy 500(already in-game) for example, add the detroit dw12 indycar track, add st petersburg indycar, add chicagoland speedway, add pocono, add texas motor speedway, add las vegas motor speedway, add sonoma road course, add watkins glen, anyway, you get my point.

I agree that they need more ovals because they have a potential American blockbuster if they get IndyCars right. Lot's of buying power here. But Chicago, Texas, Vegas, Charlotte, and Fontana are all the same track.

From the drift footage at Autosport Speedway, it looks like that oval (the only other one besides Indy) will be a big one, more like Charlotte...1.5 mile tri-oval with high banking. They have enough Road Courses, although I think Road Atlanta or Watkins Glen would be a great addition. Too Euro heavy. What they need is a couple of Bristol, Richmond (this will be in Project cars), Darlington, Dover, or Martinsville. Then you could have a real IndyCar league. However, some of the short courses on the Road Circuits ar almost small ovals.

What they really need is the traditional shorties for IndyCar. Richmond, Milwaukee, Iowa, or Nazareth.
