Long time in development rally game gRally has entered the voting stage for Steam Greenlight approval.

From the makers of rbr-online.it, gRally is an ambitious project that looks to offer up a realistic rally experience for PC sim racing players. The game has been under development for a number of years and proposes to offer a high performing advanced tyre model, VR support, custom pace notes and a modding orientated approach to design.

The game does admittedly look rather dated by todays standards, however the Unity engine is considered to be a powerful base platform and the team behind the title have been hard a work for a considerable period of time as they attempt to bring a believable rally experience to PC.

Official licences are not included in the game, and the initial build will only include limited content as the development team look to build up the simulation once it becomes available on Steam.

    About the Game:

gRally is an Indie project born of the passion of the rbr-online.it team crew.
With its slogan #DreamExperienceBelieve the team has put full faith in this product, the fruit of hard work in free time, which it now offers to entire community of rally simmers.

gRally is not in a position to have official licenses at the moment and its starting point is a limited number of racing cars.

gRally, considered its Indie character, is modding-oriented. We developed integrated Unity tools that will facilitate the insertion of your creations, whether it be additional cars or tracks.

gRally has the same basic ideas of rbr-online, so expect exceptional doses of adrenaline during online session where one can compete against a host of players around the world.

gRally is abreast with all new gaming hardware: VR, TrackIR and multiscreen. It is possible to use the most popular brands of steering wheels and a vast number of home-made hardware devices.

gRally recreates the range of real rally conditions that drivers must face, including various type of surface and climate as well as different times of day and night.

gRally places much importance on the co-driver's role: as in a real rally it will be possible to realize real recce to set down customized pacenotes in order to achieve a higher degree of driving confidence and speed.

gRally is constantly evolving and has need of your support to improve ever more day by day.

gRally is a PC exclusive rally game that is planned for release via the Steam Network. You can vote to help get gRally on Steam Greenlight HERE.

Would be nice to get an interview with this Team, Paul *hint* ;)
Supported them in Greenlight, and everyone should do the same. Sim Community needs this game to happen, just saying...

Can't wait to participate from an early days, I'm sure it will get green light.

I wish they didn't use that spherical cam in their video, it is only good to observe car model. We want to see it like in real rally videos, from a spectators perspective. And more dirt. Tarmac looks like it has nice physics.

Nice one Guys that really makes me happy, I have loved my time in the RBR world, Fun creating Mods for RBR and driving them, and you guys has kept it alive all way through ' Thanks - Curious question: Is it with RBR Physics and handling Code ?. That would be sweet, I have never understood that, That no one of the bigger Race games companies hasn't bought the RBR Game, and that is just for the Code. because it's still the number 1 rally sim, regardless of the 12 years gone. Furthermore than they would have helped Richards Wife and son financially.
Dirt rally is a great contender, But funny enough the drive feeling is more alive in RBR than in Dirt, which makes Dirt harder to drive. and back in the days of Dirt (1) i chatted with the producer, and he was a big RBR fan, but codemasters had the feeling that RBR was way to hard for the general race gamer, and wouldn't sell just yet. I said that then make it as a Sim & Arcade So the choice is the drivers. Good idea But Nah. DoH Mr ' that is crazy.

So many potential Rally games has gone since RBR, with great Maps, Tracks, Cars sounds, just gone when the game don't deliver.

I don't mind the lower Graphic experience in Grally, if just the overall Rally Illusion is spot on, and it sort of looks like it..
