AMENDED TO INCLUDE V1.21 INFO

Main changelog for v1.21:

  • Corrected bug that caused CTD on startup in some systems (no longer requires adding a DEP exception for GSC.exe)
  • Lots of optimization work to improve FPS / stuttering issues
  • F-Extreme physics reviewed to rectify a few errors
  • AI revised for improved behavior and minimizing difficulties with tighter corners
  • Multiple qualifying rules introduced in v1.20 have been temporarily removed to fix some errors - it will be added back in the next update.
INSTALLATION:

If you had already updated to v1.20:

Run GSC Sync to update, or unrar this package into your GSC2013 folder, overwriting files when prompted.

If you had not yet updated to v1.21:

Check the info below:
Game Stock Car Extreme v1.21 is now available

IMPORTANT:
Mods that have loose files that conflict with original game files will cause trouble - make sure your "Shared" folder in particular is clean before you update. For the same reason mods & addon tracks might require some updating in order to work properly.

Full v1.21 installers will come shortly. In the meantime if you don´t have the game yet, head to www.game-stockcar.com.br, download the full v1.15 installer and update to v1.21 with GSC Sync or one of the update packages below.

If you already have GSC2013 v1.15 installed, you may update to version 1.21 by running GSC Sync from your root GSC2013 folder.

Alternatively, download the update packages below (2.3GB in size) and unrar the contents into your GSC2013 folder, overwriting files when prompted:

  • Adjusted dirty air physics for more realistic behavior
  • Adjusted engine cooling properties in all cars
  • Adjusted AI performance for wider range specially in lower strentgh settings, and more consistency all around from track to track, series to series
  • Fixed bug with AI performance discrepancy from quali to race (RaceQualRatio=XX parameter now works in AIW files, lower than 1.0 value will result in slower qual times relative to race, higher values will do the opposite. By default AI should be about 2% faster in quali; remains an issue with AI being too quick in practice sessions)
  • Increased rearview mirror resolution for all cars
  • Corrected FOV / POV + tv cameras to the same standards for all cars
  • Updated rumble sounds to be more "bassy" on all cars (for Buttkicker and other similar systems)
  • Adjusted trackside cameras in all tracks for more realistic framing / tracking
  • Adjusted some inconsistent road & terrain properties, fixing some overdone high frequency bumps
  • Various environmental / lightining enhancements (new skies / fog and other updated shaders);
  • Introduced new Foliage shader which looks better & is more optimized to provide performance boost
  • Added 3d tyre lods at Granja Viana to help ease performance issues
  • Added 3d Armco at Interlagos

Known issues:
  • The F-Extreme ERS system has been simplified for this release - basically, the battery is fully charged all the time and the power blending still needs work, meaning the driveability under throttle is not quite what it should be yet;
  • The AI for the F-Extreme does not use 8th gear or DRS;
  • The hard compound for the F-Extreme & F-Reiza does ot have its proper orange Pirelli sidewall label.
  • Championship races are being awarded double points.
All these should be sorted out in time for the next update.

Does your game support qwertz layout ? It appears only qwerty is supported and as u probably know the symbols are laid out differently which renders my keyboard useless for online communication. I can find the symbols eventually but it's a big PITA not being able to communicate efficiently. No game i ever played 'enforced' such a weird restriction on me...Seems a bit odd to me. Thanks

But in relation to Formula Extreme:
  1. how do you adjust the gearing?
  2. Can the fuel rate be changed?
  3. Is the temp boost button effectively the ERS?
  4. and why are servers disallowing these features? (i know this is a setting and the admins choice but its annoying me).
Also is it possible to make tracks that enable DRS?

I can only answer #1, and the answer is "you cant."

Cuz F1 2014 rules.
 
Manual updating was a fail:rolleyes:. with GSC sync no prblem at all:thumbsup:
Did a quick 2laps @interlagos and to can only say that the handling for me is very good. Standard T500 F1 rim and changed wheel range to 540 and steering lock @24.

Sli-pro display is not working as you can only have a max of 3 usb connections?
Wheel, DSD pedals, sli-pro is connected or do wireless mouse and keyboard also count?

Unfortunately with version 1.2 the great looking hood camera perspective on the V( stock car is no more available!

I hope you know what I mean. One can change between 4 camera perspectives -cockpit, hood etc,

But now, on the 1.20 version on the V8 stock Cars there is no hood perspective anymore!

Please put it back on! This is my favorites driving perspective!
 
Another great update for free, you guys are spoiling us.
As much as i hate open wheelers, the Vee is an absolute blast, after getting used to the handling i couldn't stop driving it.
Love the new tracks, especially Spielberg and every single additional layout just keeps adding value to a sim that already was a must-buy countless updates ago.
Like the new tire feel, who needs rF2 when there's still so many places you can go with this ;).

Only little issue that i have since the kart update and now on the new tracks with much other cars are tiny microstutters every now and then (overall framerate is great).

Thanks Reiza, GSCE future is looking bright, especially those 80's Opalas :D.

I like the V8 stock car hood in GSC2013 until 1.15 version..where you can see, while driving in HOOD perspective all of the hood in front of you including those magnificent ripples/ruffles on top on the left and wright front over the tires (don't know the terms in english language).

And THIS is completely missing in GSC2013 version 1.20 on the V8 stock cars,

Now I TRIED by just copying the text contents of old GSC2013 1.15 folder
\GameData\Vehicles\StockV8\StockV8_cams.cam
by opening file with windows notepad and selecting all text of that file,
than opening
\GameData\Vehicles\StockV8_2014\StockV8_2014_cams.cam
and selecting all text included, deteting all text and then pasting text content of before copied text content of
\GameData\Vehicles\StockV8\StockV8_cams.cam

into \GameData\Vehicles\StockV8_2014\StockV8_2014_cams.cam and save it.

However INGAME the hood perspective is still missing.

NO CLUE HOW TO PUT IT BACK IN THE NEW 1.20

Please, REIZA, put the "regular" HOOD perspective of all former GSC versions back into V8 cars of version 1.20

Don't you think we should appreciate their effort a little more and maybe give them a little time to breath and then politely ask again? They gave us outstanding new content for free, I think we should keep that in mind.
