Game run ok in 1600*900 but run badly even in 1280*720 if recording o_O"

So thats my problem as title shown, many thanks for every working suggestion or advise
My Spec -->

Play & record games with much stunning graphic like Grid 2 / F1 2013 / Splinter Cell Blacklist without any problem or lag issue but seriously lag record this GSC2013 even i down resolution to 1280*720

Do you have any of the Simbin games? They are based on the same ISI game engine such as Race07, GTR. What kind of recording results do you get with them?

I have Race07 but never record before the time i play it few years ago .. since you ask so i think i install this Race 07 & see how is the recording doing ... to be continue ...

Both games use the ISI game engine.

gmotor was never an optimized engine, and certainly not for AMD cards....

Ok i just test record Race 07 in 1600*900 with medium setting and all goes well, get around 150fps without record and steady 60fps while recording with super smooth gameplay, thats what i expect from a game with such at least 5 yrs old graphic.
However i did change some fps setting for recording GSC2013 as Justin Swan suggest & looks like it do improve, now i can play & record in 1600*900, not very smooth compare to other games but at least much better

I never thought about that, i always record while i race, can be a good idea if replay also have cockpit view & help lag issue

yeah agree to that but the downside is i have to spend extra time on recording after any race so i never do that

1920*1080 Ultra setting ya .. nice. Anyway i happy enough if my pc can handle 1600*900 medium for any game before i had enough $$$ to go for an upgrade

Well the point I was making is your PC should be able to do it because on paper your specs are slightly high if I remember correctly?

Actually thats what i wondering, my spec "looks" abit better than yours but i never really try that 1920*1080 yet, because from what i remember the game lag when recording in 1600*900 with all high setting the very first time i try to do that.
But its ok, like i say i happy enough to play in 1600*900 as long as all goes smooth.
