G25 settings? Degree of Rotation..

Discussion in 'F1 2010 - The Game' started by Chad711, Sep 23, 2010.

  1. I feel like I am steering way to much for a F1 car with default plug and play settings from game with my G25. Just curious what is the normal DoR for F1? I use to know all this but it's been over a year since I hooked up this G25!!! Feels good to be back in the sim setup!

Hi Chad, start with 360 degrees and work your way down.
  3. Think I need to be around 180 degree's actually...I will mess with it but looks like I need to override in game settings

Unless u are racing at Monaco or Singapore 180 degrees is too low. PLay around with it until you find your sweetspot.
  5. Try from this in the game set all linearity to 50 which is 1 to 1 steering ,no dead zones and 100
saturation to 100 to use full amount of travel of what you set degrees of rotation to.
Set environmental to 10(this is the cause of most issues along with degrees of rotation)
Overall force to 40-50 , change to suit
weight 30- 40, change to suit

The steering rotation needs to be 270 in logitech profiler as they tuned the ffb to match the xbox wheel.

G25 profiler settings that you need to alter
    overall effects 100%
    spring effect 0%
    damper effect 0%
    tick enable center spring
    set center spring at 0%
    untick report combined pedals
tick allow game to change settings.
  6. So this basically sounds to be the same for the G25 and the DFGT. What I posted on the DFGT next to last post.
