Seriously though hope it picks up I like these events for the fact the field is large. (oh and slightly because the mod is incredible and for Ivo's superb organization work).

This is my first race with rFactor, hope I won't make it a mess: RBR - Vettel please. Also do I need to know any specific settings which make the game better or are required for this race?

Clutch and Gears are allowed I think. You need to qualify with your race setup and fuel (parc ferme). We also do a formation lap.

Dont worry everyone did at one time their first race with rFactor.
Auto Clutch and Auto gears are allowed. And indeed we use Parc Ferme. But when you in the server everybody will help eachother how much fuel you need and wich tyres are best. So all will be oke.
