During the month of February, players of XBOX ONE title Forza Motorsport 6 can race for the chance to win an exclusive Aston Martin V8 Vantage from 1977... in game only though folks!

Turn 10 Studios have revealed that the popular 'Bounty Hunter' challenge has made its return to the long running series of games, where players are faced with the task of beating a set laptime on a single circuit to be in with a shout of winning an exclusive car in game.

February's challenge is set at iconic British race track, Brands Hatch, where players will be racing against a time set by the studio's own driver Elliott Lyons in a Rolls-Royce Wraith. In order to be eligible to set a time players will be allowed to edit tuning and upgrades to the top of B Class.

The competition, titled “Chasing Ghosts at Brands Hatch" can be found in the Community Monthly Channel of Rivals events section, and closes at the end of the month.

Any player who beats the benchmark time will receive the free car alongside 100 randomly chosen participants, ensuring anyone who dedicates the time to enter this event stands a chance of winning the car, regardless of skill level.

Be aware, Lyons will be driving (and probably improving) throughout the month and his final fastest lap will not be finalised until noon Pacific on February 26.. so keep pushing!

It is expected that this event will be the first of many new Bounty Hunter challenges in Forza 6... keep your eye out for details of next months challenge in March right here on RaceDepartment!

If you set a top time and win the free Aston Martin, please leave a comment below and upload your lap to our RaceTube video section. We will pick 1 video at random no later than Wednesday 2nd March and it will be featured on the front page right here at RD alongside a written commentary by yourself from 'the drivers eye'!! Go on, get seen by our thousands of readers and show off your skill :)
