Those RSS liveries show above are inspired by real ones from the different series that are using the Mygale M14-F4. And with good source pictures i was literally able to project them via 3D paint onto the model. I think this describes the detail of chargingcar's work!

So I never shown it yesterday ,
but I created the casing that covers the brake lines , speed sensor cable and the hub tether lines that bolt to the chassis and hub to stop it coming off after an accident ,
shouldnt really be adding this much , car is really high , but so close to it been perfect ,
never seen a car with these details , no formula car anyways when they all have them recent cars ect ,
ill try and get them all finished and skinned so they flex at some point in the day ,
maybe I can do the rears , but without looking not sure how visible they are ,
the front cables is right in view constant on all cars , so was a must really

Last night I made the covers left and right and textured them for unreal4 , like all my textures ,
ill grab a screen from the sdk ,
also did the rear transmission rubbers as well with same texture , pops ingame

once its finished and textured ill show more

@Ben O'Bro really got this trick down , thanks for the extra tips man ,
always used dummy , but this mesh way is perfection

Getting there , I just did the speed sensor cable , the blackish one ,
at the end ill bake all cables dont worry too much with shaders and crap at this point
main thing it all works perfect

I could just sit and watch that speed sensor disc spin all day all night ,
never seen anything spinning on the inside of a hub before its magic!!

I had an idea to merge all cable together , and apply they same skin works perfect ,
saved me quite a bit of time
LF Is finished now ill do the RF and bake all these cables .

A bit over the top , but worth it once I look at it

Well I am now happy with my textures and shaders on our cables .

I am happy currently with the external ,
needs a few ao maps baking , and some shaders tweeking ,
also the rear struts , wants 2 tie wraps adding either side ,
currently the external is 263k poly ,
the interior is really basic , left side a small control box with 4 buttons and the right side one red knob ,
emergency engine stop I believe ,
steering wheel , seat and belts ,
maybe I can keep the build like the rss2 around 300k ,
I will start the interior in the morning and finish the last few maps in between doing this interior ,
I think the display will take the longest
