It could have worked for @kedy89 if his opponents weren't that close too ! The 3 Tier 1 teams ranked at the 3 first positions

Anyway there's still a tough battle for the WCC and inside the other Tiers below :
Connaught should be the new Tier 1 team next year (we'll see again if they could stay in with Hawthorn )
Impossible to know who will fall into Tier 3 between Gordini and Maserati yet.. Same between Cooper and Mercedes for dropping into the Tier 4.
We could notice that Farina was a good pick for HW Motors as he never retires due to his experience (does it make sense in english ? "experience"). The car is also 10 PP faster than their opponents.. which definitely helps more than an old Italian champion.

!! How the hell do PP work ? !!

In order to help you read the pace of your cars & drivers, I have "harmonise" all the Pace Points (PP) in the game. It doesn't change anything in my formulas, it's just made to be more simple for you. It means that the balance between every data stays exactly the same, it's just a "display" change.

Tiers
5PP per Tier

Setup
+1PP per Rank, up to 10PP

Drivers
Up to 20PP
zdH8EPD.png

Bets
+1PP for the WCC
+2PP for the WDC
+4PP for both

NB : About the drivers, I've shrunk a little the range of rate for class C and B. Some of the current B drivers will now be displayed as C drivers and some of the current C drivers will now be displayed as D drivers. However, they are not slower ! It's just to help you choose your drivers easily.

!!! Why am I doing this ? !!!

It's just made to help you read the game more and encourage you to make trades. The difference between the worst B driver and the best is 3PP. Imagine you just signed a good Rookie (B), you could trade him for a decent C driver and at least +3PP to stay as fast as before or even faster because your other driver will get the PP trade bonus too. Get 4PP in a trade is the difference between a B and a C driver.. and it's also almost one Tier.

About the readability of the game, a simple calculation could provide you the exact pace of your car. Let's say you're a Tier 3 who bet on the right WDC last season with a driver that just became class A for this season. Your pace is supposed to be exactly 27PP without setup. Your major opponent is a former Tier 2 team who just fell into your Tier with wrong bets and a solid B class driver. His pace is supposed to be around 22PP or more, so 3 or 5PP less than yours. You only need to be at least #5 in the setup process to be sure to beat him.

Before the last race of the season, Connaught will enter Tier 1 for the first time while Rob Walker will go back to Tier 2 again. Below, HW Motors will be promoted while Maserati should be relegated in Tier 3. BRM, with a 11th position during the very first race of the season seems to be enough to get into Tier 3.

You've got 48h to send me a new number for the very last race of the season !
