Gui Cramer submitted a new resource:

Formula 1 & CART Menu Icons - Alternative options to existing icons

I began going through season liveries for certain ingame series and wanted to create a consistent look for them, especially with the official look, so this was the outcome. I made it for myself but figured it wouldn't hurt to share.

The preview is from PhotoShop, ingame it has the correct reflection fade. I will add more seasons as I find appropriate liveries for them, especially Formula Vintage and Formula V12.

My pipeline of seasons*:
CART 1999 (with 1998 update)
F1 1994
F1 2001 (will offer Benetton and Prost options since it was their last season)
F1 2011
F1 2014
F1 2015
F1 2016
F1 2017 (will take a while until all cars are made available)

*bold meaning should be available soon

I should get an update out soon, for some reason the 1988 icon has part of "championship" faded out in my game... although the others show up fine.

Edit: Nevermind, it's a game problem. Phew.

@Lazarou @polo199 @brandenelmes @C_Stephens , I'm tagging you all since you either liked the resource or bothered to post here . I'm experimenting for the more modern F1 seasons and would like your feedback on these fonts I am testing:

Just say if you prefer 1, 2, or 3 and I'll tally it up with my personal preference .

Hmm, well I'd have to give my preference as #1, then #3 then #2. When reduced to actual size I think #2 would look really cramed together. #1 seems to match up better with the F1 font in size and thickness.

So you go through all this work, make everything right, have a clear description of the content, and someone still manages to do this (also clearly without trying out the content):

Just saw the update, yet to install (although I will soon as I'm on my gaming pc). New icons look great (modern F1's) and the Greg Moore CART, a man after my own heart. Perfect ! Thanks Gui

Glad you liked it! I ended up providing options for a variety of reasons, for example the last year of certain cars in the series, the last season of a driver with a certain team, or the last year certain drivers were active - in a sad way including Senna, Ratzenberger, and Moore in this pack.
