Game crashing after I click join.

EDIT: game crashes immediately even if I pick the GT350

EDIT2: game crashes immediately on any server I try to join. I have been short on disk space, and deleted a lot of mod tracks; maybe I deleted something I shouldn't have :s

First up, apologies to those trying to talk to me during R1. I was talking back but my mic wasn't working. A couple of days ago one of my pet rats chewed straight through the cables for both my speakers and headset. I had to bodge them back together and obviously didn't do it very well. Had to re-repair them once the race was finished.

I wasn't expecting to finish either race tonight given the problems I was having with the Escort, and sure enough I didn't. :p In R1 I got a good start and made up four places. I promptly messed up T1 though and had two cars passing up the inside on the run to T2. I braked early and I think I took Eck by surprise as he ran into the back of me. The funny thing is, this bump on the back end actually made my car feel better! :D I rather enjoyed the next few laps and made up a few places. Unfortunately I lost it on lap ten and ended up in a barrier with knackered steering.

I started last in R2 as in qualy I managed to roll my car on the way out of the pit lane! This was doubly unfortunate as I was hoping to ask someone behind me to give me a whack on the rear to improve my car's handling again! :D This time I barely got anywhere, losing it braking for the hairpin early on and ending up in the barrier again. Bleagh.

Congrats to the podiums and I'll try to do better next time!

Was a little short on practice tonight as the kongs were shaking up the electricity. But was able to get into the groove during first race. Had some fun racing along the way too.

Second race I was trying to catch up to Stuart. For the first laps he was a quite a bit faster. Then I found some more speed and was able to gain very slowly. Eventually I found too much speed and messed it all up:thumbsup: Well done Stuart, great driving.

Thanks Stu for another cracker and thanks to all the connoisseurs that showed up.

I visited Sam yesterday, I took him an emergency fix for his 'puter. He's definitely retiring from anything active, he instructed his missus to bag together everything of his G25. I reluctantly agreed to take it (and a bottle of Patron (not so reluctantly)). When I got home, I immediately set it up (the wheel, that is). Did quite a bit of practice and decided I'd race.

Hindsight being what it is, I should'a forgot that idea (refer to Ross's post, above). He made no error, I did... The pedal on the left ain't no brake, anymore... I atleast finished race one. Race two, I didn't hit anyone. I was worse off though, I couldn't make an apex. Decided I needed more time... yes, a little too late. Anyhoo, I must say sorry to all, especially Ross.

Thanks Stu and RD... I hope to be on best behaviour next time... (please reconsider the Cougar, I'll take the risk and know its my own fault)

Everyone should be ok Thursday, as I can't make it...

Once again Guys a great night of FUN!!! .. Great banter in Tspeak, i am slowly getting used to this , i still need to set up the volumes correctly.. sometimes a mic activates and it makes the game so quiet i don't hear the important bits, ( but this is minor)
i have to concentrate a little to much at the moment .. need to relax more (will also help with the driving me thinks..)
After a great first week last week i was expecting for it all to go south..but i did hold it together for the most..
and who cant resist a bit of rear wheel action in a Escort FVA..
I'm really enjoying this Retro action long may it live.....:)
The finishing position is not important when you have such a great group to race against, it makes you want to come back for more fun....
See you on track... Thursday...:D

Yep great racing last night! except one minor thing....
When I started practicing the escort: I thought what the hell is this! lost controll everywhere! couldn't get it well through the corner
But at the end of practice I did some steady good laps and find the way too handle the escort. Race 1 was a steady race not too much pressure at back and ended up third place!
In Race 2 I messed up the first place quali for Roland already in the first round, trying to hold of Stu I watched too much in my rearviewmirror so I was to late for braking and I hit Roland in the back, apologies again.
Then had some fine racing for the rest of the race, but 16 laps of Hockenheim in the Escort was though.
Thx for this event cya next time!

Have to agree with most comments above, GREAT night of fun them Escorts with a great bunch of men. I actually cannot remember in what place I finished the races, but will not be able to forget the fun I had there for a while either.
Do remember messing up R1 start - that'd been a while :D - and some great battles on the short track, several of them with Knut, and being unable to get any closer to Jacob in front, lap after lap after lap..
I also remeber snatching Q2 pole by a whopping 0.003 seconds, after being able to do a grand total of errr... two laps in practice without crashing.
Good R2 start as well, but my leading the race was short-lived. Had some serious fun and a fair share of mistakes after that, too bad things were getting more and more quiet on track as people were forced to retire.:(
Still, it was a blast! And mighty intense as well, as I was pretty tired after the short race 1 already, and by R2 finish I felt like I needed a long vacation.

Grats Stuart on a double win, and thanks to all others who were there to enjoy this one. CY soon.

First this FVA is a lot better than the car we used in the league, had a better handling so I decide to do both races !
Quali not that great but the start was better p5 after T2 but not for long why do I mess up al in the first lap?! to haste an cold tyres ?
But had a nice run on Ian,did a 1.18.5xx in race so I had my Fun.:)
Race 2 Quali ,cut warning first corner so no time an start on p9 get a hit in T1 so back to p9 had a lonely race could not come any closer on the guys in front of me an after half the race I started to make mistakes, drag my self to the Fin. 16 laps a bit to long right now but I made it !!:ninja:

Thanks Stu, Grats podium, an thanks guys for Racing !!

Windows 7 now. Well it was good to get the game and TS up and running again. A few adjustments directed by Stu tuned up the TS. Thanks very much. Enjoyed both races especially because I was in the mix with others for a good portion of the events.

In replay I see that I had a good jump at the start but fishtailed going into 2nd gear in both races. Knut was soon to pass me and I had a good challenge with Ross until he wiped out. We traded places a couple times. I noticed I bumped him at a corner near his demise but he had come close to a complete stop nearing the corner so I guess he had problems of some sort. He slowed after that and I waited, he continued and shorty thereafter curbed off and DNF. Near the end I could see Hans making a run at me so I focused and held him off to the end.
Race 2. I hadn't realized at the time how involved I was with Roland, basically blocking his progress. I admit that I was shaky on some of the corners. I remember saying on TS" There are only 7 of us left." He adventually got by me and I shortly after had to serve a stop/go penalty for cut track. Took 14 sec to get out so I need to check on the procedure for that. Finished last of the remaining drivers.
Well done STU .. double podiums and for organizing, cheers to all drivers.

I was the one trying to overtake when we bumped in the corner, so I slowed to let you pass me again. :) I was telling you to go through but of course, you couldn't hear me because my mic wasn't working!

It's a good job I noticed the problem before R2... I was starting to wonder why you had suddenly become an bunch of ignorant buggers ignoring me!
