Just seen this in skysportsnews, (uk) haven't gotten yet any website to confirm it, but it seems the ban didn't last.

And what will happen now? Don't think there is one team in Formula 1 left that will get him on board as teamchef. He also lost all his commercial value I fear. Still find it strange that Piquet got away with it as he was the one driving the car.

Maybe this is more to ensure some good drivers continue into F1 as Briatore has some talent on his books. Though hopefully he wouldn't of blocked any of his drivers from running in F1 because of a ban.

And now he's taking leagal action against Kovalainen and di Grassi. Guys were left without manager just when they needed it most and now this guy is saying they broke the conract..great

If this stands it means the most blatant case of cheating in F1 history will end with exactly ZERO punishment. Piquet was granted immunity, Renault merely got a suspended ban (which in effect means nothing) and now Flavio is off the hook as well. Well done Max.
