First Track and a Thankyou

I’ve done some car skinning in GTR2 and some file modifications, but every time I‘ve tried to figure out track making, it ended in frustration.

You never see anyone making Auto Cross tracks, and I always wanted to try one.

Bought BTB after watching the How To video’s on You Tube, and about two day’s later, I was driving on my own track !!!

Just have to say a big THANKS to Brendon for BTB, and the Video’s (they make things 100% easier).

I downloaded a Google Earth image of a local decommissioned Air Strip, that they run Auto Cross races at, Fort Devens.
Scaled it into BTB, and constructed a track on top of it, also blended up some of the texture, to get the unused runways into the terrain.

Not a bad first effort, but I’m amazed at how far I could get with it.

And I make crappy videos, but here are some anyway.

Have to build up some objects of the real buildings, etc. etc., and clean things up, but I’m just happy to not be completely lost, like I’ve been to data.
