And wow, it's complicated to work out how to manage the ERS. Am very glad that @Fernando Deutsch posted that PDF earlier or it would be even more opaque, but even with its guidance I am struggling

I use the default "Gears" app. The blue line shows how much juice is being deployed currently, the green line is how much juice is in the battery and the yellow line is how much juice you've got left for this lap.

I feel robbed

I go into pits and pit crew didn't change my tyres although it showed they did so I had to do 2nd pit stop for tyres and finished 2nd 6 seconds behind.
