A small note has been added to the top of the Original Post in a Spoiler tag regarding any loss of sound since Assetto Corsa 1.3.6 +

    Thanks

@sNg92 I'll help you out to get the sounds to work.

As you've only started out with AC yesterday, I'm sure you have a clean, new installation of the game.

When you download the files in this upload, open up the archive and you will see the 'content' folder and a Read Me file. Leave that to one side and open up your PC folder. Navigate to where you have installed the Assetto Corsa game. This is usually:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\
Now, if you can see a folder called 'assettocorsa', you are in the right place. Drag the 'content' folder inside my sound archive onto this 'assettocorsa' folder, and overwrite anything it asks you to overwrite.

I think maybe the problem you had was you copied my 'content' folder all the way into the sfx folder of the car, or into the default sfx folder of the game 'assettocorsa/content/sfx' (this would be more of a problem if you did this, so please let me know). Can you try this again and let me know how you get on?

    Thanks
