A few design notes:
- My intent was to better represent a "real" camera, within reason. Rather than even lighting across all colors — which lends Automobilista 2 a "gamey" feel at times — my goal was to properly balance colors for the cockpit view. This means some brighter colors will be overexposed.
- I stopped short of a full, GoPro-style helmet camera which tends to desaturate and washout many colors. This tends to look terrible in external car views and instant replays.
- I adjusted all color tones, shadow tones, and highlight tones. Automobilista 2 — for me! — is a bit to "warm" by default.
