Fanatec DD wheel way over sensitive

I started AMS2 yesterday, not having changed any settings from the last time, except that now the steering wheel inputs are too sensitive. It had been set at 180 degrees and was working fine, but now in game I had to set the sensitivity to 30% otherwise a tiny input would have the in-game wheel on full lock. It means that I can drive the car, but now in VR a normal input has the displayed wheel going to full lock wither way - to the point that even driving on the grid straight has the virtual hands and wheel whipping back an forth.

I have checked through the settings and can't see anything that has changed, so I tried lowering the Fanatec Fanalabs sensitivity setting to 300 deg, but that doesn't appear to have made any difference.

Any ideas? It's actually really difficult not to be distracted by the virtual wheel while driving

First I would go through the wheel configurator again it may have processed wrong. I have to redo mine every now and again.

I think Glenn is right. When you checked the settings, did you also check the calibration? You might just need to re-do that part.
