Hi
When attempting to use online play the error message appears
[JSON] Unable to perform operation unsupported file type.

Any ideas?

Jip, :D

I've been editing player.json a lot. I i've seen it a lot!!!

- If you edit the player.json and you click "save as" instead of save. The file get corrupt.
- Or you rename the player.json (rename it back to player.json)
- Or you have a double in the folder.

Solution: delete the player.json file.
If you have a back-up or a player.json from a second install , put it back. ;)

If you don't have a back up. Delete the player.json. And start rF2.
But you'll need the check all you graphic settings, sound settings, etc.

Thanks, I think Ill make a copy and save it. Once we finish VSC2 I wont have another one there.

Actually make a copy/backup of your userdata and packages folders.

If you want do make another install or a complete new lite install:

Just copy past your userdata folder back and all your settings: controller setting, car setups, real roads, weather files, your graphic settings, audio settings. Etc... Are back!!! :geek:
