Ennisfargis road XPACK - only on Terrain?

I have just purchased BTB and downloaded ennisfargis road xpack.
Can you put the road markings on the actual track?

I can only get it to go on the terain (fields on side of the track)
There is not way it lets me put the road markings on the track.

Is it possible as when i go to road surface I see a option about changing texture of track but it is not selectable.

"Edit track surface properties" opens a dialog box. There's a radio button near the top which lets you choose between shape and materials. You want to select materials. Now right-click on the red line (that is a cross section of your track surface) and select replace selected...

Wait a bit (there's often a short pause when selecting materials) for the select material dialog box to appear. Highlight a road surface and click OK.
