Does anyone know if it is possible?

I'd like to be able to swap drivers and components around between teams, and editing their performance at the start of a season, mainly to fix "mistakes" made by the game, such as Wexler signing for some F3 team while he is still good enough to race F1.

Could also be nice to manage whatever team i like, instead of being stuck with one team for many seasons because no one wants to hire me as manager.

Please go to 'Player' tab and you can find 'Available Jobs' at the time there.
If your favorite team is listed, click on 'Apply For Job' button. And you receive a mail from the chairman several days later, then 'Accept Job' and move to that team as a new Team Principal.
