Driving Force GT Problem

So as the title suggests, I have a problem with my Driving Force GT, more specifically, the pedals. When I press the brake in all the way, then release it, rather than returning to the regular state it lingers at barley pressed. I suspect it is hardware because the accelerator pedal is working normally. And if this matters for anything, it also happens when any of the buttons on the wheel are pressed, or even if the wheel is moved. Any help is appreciated!
