DPI: Mazda changes to Joest

Mazda reboots for 2018 season with one of the most successfull endurance teams, putting down the Speedsource team, stopping all race starts for the rest of the season, according to todays motorsport aktuell(source:msa interview with Joest teams Ralf Jüttner).

A clever move by the Mazda´s motorsports boss John Doonan, getting the knowledge and the huge experience of the former Audi and Porsche works team, with a long history of victories, including several wins in Le Mans. Joest ist starting already in August, developing the 2018 car in cooperation with Multimatic and AER.

Keeping in Mind Acura is starting with the Penske 2018 in DPI, Cadillac will have to face two new major opponents next year. Good news for the fans.
