    Hi
Besides Racedepartment, what are your preferred download sites for F1 2010 / F1 2011 ?
I am currently looking for Carskins (in HD 4096 quality) as I am designing a new F1 fantasy carset for F1 2011 which is somewhat similar to the F1 2010 design I have made before (www.romers.dk). Not yet uploaded to any site...

So if anyone knows a nice place where HD carskins can be found for F1 2011, please let me know.

    Those I know of are:
    http://www.f1pole.de/
    http://downloads.moddingway.com/game/200.html
    http://www.drivingitalia.net/forum/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=93

    Thanks.
    Peter

Don't be surprised if this gets edited out. I posted something similar to help folk while the downloads section was down. It was editted with a comment " Yes we are aware Google excists (sic)" so I deleted it.

What ?... I really hope this is not the case as that would be a very dominant arrogant way of treating us as members. Everybody knows Racedepartment is a brilliant place, but nobody is God right ... we have a sole right to mention other great places and share these with one and another.

Yes we can Google many things, but some great sites are sometimes not that easy to find. As to forbid members to share content that could help bring more mods and stuff to the scene for everybody is a very childlish attitude.
I would be surprised if thats the case, and by the way a good idea you had there.

Nope, we don't have the "right" since it is a private forum and they set rules, like this one : "We reserve the rights to remove or modify any messages posted for any reason."

I wouldn't be surprised that RD wouldn't want other sites advertised on their forums, a lot of forums don't.

Well a share of information that holds mods and carsets that can assist people to go a step further is not in my opinion advertising but helping the members and the community.
Thats the Way we did it in the Danish F1 simracing LAN league.
    With great success.
Also one of the reasons that we back then were invited to EA Sports to be One the first sites to try out F1C back then.
We considered other F1 simracing sites as fellow fan sites and not competitors. A lot of interests can be shared this way.

    Cheers Peter
