DIY Wheel with Simhub & Nextion Display

Hejhej,

I was planning my projekt for my new Racing Wheel and I stumbled over the following sentence on SimHub Wiki:

"Arduino Pro Micro : The arduino will emulate a TTL and allow RGB LEDs or buttons to be added"

Now, I plan to add rgb leds AND buttons and I am wondering, if every free pin is free to use.
Will this wiring plan I have in mind work out?

Thanks everyone for your help!

So Im building a wheel with a Vocore display. At the moment, I am using a joystick controller for the buttons, and a second USB cable for the display. I'm wanting to go wireless. Can one board handle both the switches and then the display as well?

I made one with a screen - used a vocore and an LED strip.
Fun project, but I never got round to finishing it. It needs the handles to be wrapped in alcantara or something, and the front re-printed without the printing pattern.

Everything works, encoders, pushes, switches etc.
Hey friend do u have a tutorial for that?

Hi all! I'm sorry for being late to this, but I am working on a DIY wheel with switches, encoders, funky switches and a vocore screen, as well as an RGB strip (2812B) for the RPMs and the difficult part, neopixel LEDs for buttons' backlight.
I am planning on using an STM32 with FreeJoy to handle all the switches and inputs and a Pro Micro for the LEDs. For the RPM strip, there is already a library on SimHub to manage it, but I have no clue on how to handle the backlight LEDs. Any suggestion on how to do it?
