DIFFs

I am curious if anyone has ventured into the dark realm of modifying diff settings..

It really seems quite complex, with a multitude of adjustments. I'm scared to touch anything for fear of makingthe situation really, really bad...

I've tinkered with just about everything else-but have not touched diffs.

Are there any huge gains in diff mods? Curious what you guys think about it.

I'm basically the same as you, never touch the diffs because I don't know what I'm doing. I've tried the odd experiment to see if I could learn anything, but I always made it worse.

Its refreshing to know that it is possible to be fast (as you) without playing with diffs.
